I have had the worst experiences the past few years trying to find a dentist that takes my insurance and is "decent." I wasn't even expecting much. Just the bare minimum at this point. So when I had reached my limit being treated so poorly. Made to feel like I didn't even get a cleaning or regular check up. Instead I had to be pointing out my concerns and at that point... it required root canals, crowns. I felt they cared more about how much money they could make than my oral health. It was just yucky. I don't like confrontation so I kept quiet until I decided to look for another dentist. I had no expectations but OMG when I got seen at City Family Dental... I immediately felt comfortable, welcomed and most importantly.... hopeful. Everyone from the front desk, to the assistants, hygienist and dentist himself were beyond kind and friendly. The dentist was very informative and gentle. I can't recommend this place enough. They are genuinely a great dental office.

They didn't diagnose me with a million different questionable things like some dentists I've had in the past, and they didn't make my dental cleaning feel like some medieval torture, which was my experience in Turlock. The facility is clean and modern and treatment is prompt. Most importantly, they accept denti-cal which unfortunately most quality dentists do not, and I really appreciate that as my bad experiences with dentists in this area kept me from getting my dental issues addressed for a few years after I lost my insurance. Overall my experience and that of my family has been great and I would recommend them.

Love this Dentist. Took my sister in for a consultation, and she walked out with teeth. Her anxiety was so high she wanted to leave before the doctor even came into the room. I genuinely loved this place! Dr. Altwal and his staff were absolutely amazing! They were all very polite and respectful, and made sure to prioritize my needs and explained every step of the process in detail to me. I am very happy with their work and I encourage everyone to try them out to see for themselves.
By far, the best dental service I’ve received. Dr. Altwal talked me through every step he’d make when removing my wisdom teeth, which really calmed me. They’re also really attentive & accommodating, something you don’t really see in other places.

I have had the worst experiences the past few years trying to find a dentist that takes my insurance and is "decent." I wasn't even expecting much. Just the bare minimum at this point. So when I had reached my limit being treated so poorly. Made to feel like I didn't even get a cleaning or regular check up. Instead I had to be pointing out my concerns and at that point... it required root canals, crowns. I felt they cared more about how much money they could make than my oral health. It was just yucky. I don't like confrontation so I kept quiet until I decided to look for another dentist. I had no expectations but OMG when I got seen at City Family Dental... I immediately felt comfortable, welcomed and most importantly.... hopeful. Everyone from the front desk, to the assistants, hygienist and dentist himself were beyond kind and friendly. The dentist was very informative and gentle. I can't recommend this place enough. They are genuinely a great dental office.

They didn't diagnose me with a million different questionable things like some dentists I've had in the past, and they didn't make my dental cleaning feel like some medieval torture, which was my experience in Turlock. The facility is clean and modern and treatment is prompt. Most importantly, they accept denti-cal which unfortunately most quality dentists do not, and I really appreciate that as my bad experiences with dentists in this area kept me from getting my dental issues addressed for a few years after I lost my insurance. Overall my experience and that of my family has been great and I would recommend them.

I even made an appointment for myself for next week. The office staff is so nice and friendly. It feels completely safe and welcoming just walking in. I am so pleased to have found a new dentist.

Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. I am impressed by the services available and how quickly and efficiently I was taken care of. As a new patient, I was able to receive my initial exam and have my teeth cleaned during my first visit. I was given an appointment for more extensive dental work for the following Monday (though I had an option to schedule for the next day). Dr. Altwal explained everything he was doing in layman's terms and answered all of my questions and concerns. I am happy with choosing City Family Dental and Implant Centre for my dental needs and I am looking forward to many years good dental health with them,

I genuinely loved this place! Dr. Altwal and his staff were absolutely amazing! They were all very polite and respectful, and made sure to prioritize my needs and explained every step of the process in detail to me. I am very happy with their work and I encourage everyone to try them out to see for themselves.
By far, the best dental service I’ve received. Dr. Altwal talked me through every step he’d make when removing my wisdom teeth, which really calmed me. They’re also really attentive & accommodating, something you don’t really see in other places.
